My name is Mahbod. According to my birth certificate I am Iranian. But I have spent enough time in Canada to pick up an odd accent.
A graduate of ubc (University of British Columbia) masters of architecture with studies in Japan and Iran, I am a designer and educator with several years of experience in development and planning in municipal government in Vancouver.
I have run workshops and assisted with courses in drawing, design, architecture and sustainable planning in graduate and undergraduate level at the University of British Columbia and British Columbia Institute of Technology.
I'm currently a lead project designer / intern architect at Francl Architecture and teach at The School of Construction and the Environment at bcit. In addition, I serve as a committee member at the Gastown Historic Area Planning in Vancouver.
Let's get in touch and do good work.
